Dear Parents and Carers

Happy New Year! I do hope you had a lovely Christmas break and feel refreshed and ready for an amazing year ahead!

Sharon Amesu Parent Workshop

A quick reminder that Sharon Amesu’s next workshop will take place this Thursday, from 3.45pm until 5.15pm. A crèche will again be available in the hall should any of you have difficulty in sorting childcare.

The topic under discussion during this session is ‘Parent Potential’ and the content will be just as valuable and helpful as the previous two have been. I do hope that you will be able to join us to hear the powerful messages that Sharon has to deliver – she is incredibly engaging and insightful. Please note – you do not have to have been present at either of the previous two sessions to access this one, whilst a common thread runs through her workshops, each of Sharon’s talks can equally, stand alone and be of huge benefit in their own right. Please do try to come.

Cold Weather is on the way!

Apparently, if the forecasts can be believed, winter is about to arrive. If it should happen to snow (fingers crossed!) could you please ensure your child comes to school with clothing and footwear (labelled) that will allow us all to ‘play out’, or a change of footwear (and socks) to wear inside school.

Our new Deputy Headteacher

We are all delighted that our new Deputy Headteacher, Miss Brierley, has finally joined us and are excited about working with her to help make our school an even better place to come to each day. If you haven’t as yet had the chance to meet her, Miss Brierley is on the playground each morning and evening and, I know, is keen to meet you all.

I will be in touch with you again shortly with important dates for this dates for this term, including class assemblies. In the meantime, if there is anything you wish to discuss, or if we can be of help in any, please do not hesitate to contact us.

With many thanks and very best wishes

Anita Fagan
